Why did we create Wild?

Wild Kombucha is a small family-owned business founded in 2015 that specializes in the production of probiotic soft drinks. With 11 years in the market and over 15 years of experience in product development, we are one of the first companies to spread awareness and educate consumers about Kombucha tea in Costa Rica. 

Desde nuestra adolescencia recordamos a nuestro padre fermentar su té de Kombucha en la cocina de nuestra casa; viniendo de una familia con múltiples padecimientos como diabetes, hipertensión y obesidad, esta bebida les ayudó a controlar sus niveles de azúcar en la sangre,a bajar de peso y eliminar el consumo excesivo de medicamentos. Nuestra misión es poder ofrecer un producto delicioso y que a la vez ayude a nuestros clientes a mejorar la salud.

What is Kombucha?

Kombucha tea is a fermented beverage made from sweetened tea that has been fermented by a colony of bacteria and yeast, known as SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture Of Bacteria and Yeast). During the fermentation process, the SCOBY metabolizes the sugar and produces acetic acid, lactic acid, and carbon dioxide, resulting in a slightly tangy and effervescent flavor.
